ICECore is an open-source collaboration system, which requires local installation.  For the purposes of this project, we are unable to dedicate resources to installing a system requiring database connection.

Pros

• It's free
• It's open source, which means there is a whole community dedicated to supporting it and improving it
• It is installed locally, which has its benefits when considering security, access control and speed
• Strong enterprise social networking aspect
• Ability to be a part of multiple teams, view team workspaces or personal workspace
• Enterprise version available which includes workflow engine and conferencing capabilities

Cons

• It's open source, which may mean it's buggy
• It needs to be installed locally, which may not be cost effective for certain types of teams
• Not the best user experience
